Joran van der Sloot made his Confession Public to Kill Natalee Holloway
Date : 19th October, 2023
THE SOIL – Nearly two decades after Alabama young Natalee Holloway vanished in Aruba, court documents show that the man long suspected of her death has confessed to her murder in graphic detail.
Joran van der Sloot made his confession public shortly after pleading guilty in federal court on Wednesday to extortion and misleading Holloway’s family.
He was accused of attempting to offer Beth Holloway, her mother, $250,000 in exchange for knowledge on Holloway’s whereabouts.

Joran van der Sloot Murdered Natalee Holloway With a Cinder Block after She Rejected his Advances for Sexual Relations
It’s over. Joran van der Sloot is no longer the subject of an investigation into the death of my daughter. Beth Holloway said on Wednesday, “He is the killer.”
Van der Sloot, 36, admitted in an interview transcript with his lawyer that he killed the teenager on an Aruban beach with a cinder block after she rejected his advances for sex.
Van der Sloot Kicked Her in the face and Smashing her with the Cinder Block
Van der Sloot said that Holloway had kneed him in the groyne when he had tried “feeling her up,” and that he had responded by kicking her in the face and smashing her with the cinder block.
According to the transcript of the interview, he then decided to “push her off” into the sea.
The remains of Holloway remain missing. A judge in Alabama formally pronounced her dead in 2012.
Judge Anna Manasco sentenced van der Sloot to 20 years in prison on the federal counts in response to the killings of Holloway in 2005 and the Peruvian lady Stephany Flores in 2010—both of whom van der Sloot had previously acknowledged to killing.
Van der Sloot has been Arrested Multiple Times
Regarding Holloway’s death, Van der Sloot has been arrested multiple times. Later, Arubavian authorities released him, citing a lack of hard evidence.
He was convicted in 2010 of killing Flores and is presently serving a 28-year prison term in Peru.
An additional 18 years of imprisonment in Peru were imposed on van der Sloot following his conviction for smuggling cocaine into his prison in 2021, as per a sentencing memorandum.

Peruvian Authorities Approved Short-term release for Sloot in June to Answer his Allegations
The court record adds, “The Defendant is currently scheduled for release from prison in Peru on or about June 10, 2045 (35 years after his original arrest in Peru), because Peruvian law prohibits prison sentences from exceeding a total of 35 years (unless given a life sentence).”
However, in June, Peruvian authorities approved his short-term release to the US so he could answer to allegations of wire fraud and extortion.
Van der Sloot was Supposed to Return to Peru to Complete his Murder Term in the Flores case
Before coming back to the US to serve time for the federal counts, Van der Sloot was supposed to return to Peru to complete his murder term in the Flores case.
However, the plea deal he signed on Wednesday states that his 20-year federal term in the US will run concurrently with his sentence in Peru. Put another way, it doesn’t seem likely that van der Sloot will come back to the US to finish his sentence.
