Scott was arrested in Las Vegas
The Chronicle reported that Scott was arrested in Las Vegas, and the former pitcher was placed under arrest in Winnemucca, Nevada, on the basis of a no-bail warrant.
According to information provided, the Placer County Sheriff’s Department is presently waiting for the two to be returned to California. It is expected that they will face official charges of murder and attempted murder after they return.
“Meanwhile, the PCSO detectives’ astute cooperation was important in both Serafini’s successful capture in Winnemucca, Nevada, and Scott’s subsequent arrest in Las Vegas, Nevada. We are grateful to the hardworking staff members of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, the Winnemucca Police Department, the Nevada Violent Offender Task Force, and the U.S. Marshal Service Reno Office for their crucial contributions to these arrests.”
